Vivid Live 2011

Vivid LIVE at Sydney Opera House, the city's annual festival of light, music and ideas, kicked off with a bang. Check out these incredible photos and video from the La Macula by SUPERBIEN - lighting of the sails! LASERS. The Cure is set to play tonight. Cut Copy played a couple nights back in one of the main halls and ripped! Can't wait to check out the rest of the festival over the next couple weeks.

If you had to ask me which musician I'd listen to stranded on a desert island for the rest of my days, I think I'd say Bon Iver.

Bon Iver's first album will always and forever remind me of dad, and that right there is enough to make me smile to death do us part.   It just will.

Kid Cudi v. R3K

 

Been a while since I've visited the neighborhood.  Oh well, I'm back, and with a nice track to share.  Kid Cudi seems to bring out the best in me I guess.  R3K replaces Dan Black's vocals on Symphonies with Florence & the Machine.  The result?  Tastes better than eggs benny on Sunday morning.
